Great helmet! You can't beat the price, but it is still great quality. Honestly, you could NEVER persuade me to pay the difference between a $400 helmet and this $40 one, because this one works just as well. It vents great, locks cleanly, parts move smoothly, one hand modular open/close operation; all the features you could want in a helmet, and only for 40 bucks. This helmet is MUCH better quality than those Walmart "Fuel" ones, which feels like they will break quickly. This one feels solid, vents work very well (I live in Florida, and it was 100 degrees when I was riding today, but stayed cool). Helmet never fogged. The vent switches are also easy to manipulate and durable, not flimsy like on other inexpensive ones. Wind noise is minimal, I did not notice it at all while riding. It is also very comfortable, and has a nice clean styling to it. You don't need all those bs features that come with a several hundred dollar helmet; you're just buying a name brand, not that much better quality. Seriously, go with this helmet, and you won't regret the $55 total price tag (with shipping). The sizing from their chart worked well for me.

Great buy!!! I ride a sporty 1200 with 18" apes, and every helmet I've owned has made so much noise I couldn't enjoy the ride. This helmet is quiet, doesn't rattle, and just feels solid. I recommend it, and you really can't beat the price. Buy it!!!

The helmet generally works well. It fits well and is comfortable. The modular design is neat but I hardly use it. Construction seems solid, haven't crashed so I don't know how it will hold up.

A few complaints though:

The screen isn't shatterproof, it's just regular plastic. It also fogs up for me all the time, even when it's around 50-60F out. It fogs really badly when it's cold.

There's a lot of wind and noise, especially on the highway or speeds >35mph.

3 stars cause it's cheap and decent. I will probably invest in a better helmet eventually though.

IV2 is doing something right here...these helmets fit perfect and look AWESOME and their customer service is second to none! I loved the first one so much I purchased a second one for my wife...SHE DIGS IT, TOO. The FLAT/MATTE BLACK really does look cool. I really can't say enough about these helmets accept it's worth the money and if you get one that's too small, no problems. I'd recommend ordering a little bigger than size chart. The first I ordered a medium and it was just a little too snug...however, they accepted my return with not a single question asked and refunded my $. I purchased another and had it within the weeks end. They always sent me a tracking # and it was easy to follow on FedEx.

AFFORDABLE, COMFORTABLE and GREAT LOOKING...what else could you want?

I'm living outside the States and I needed to buy a quality helmet that it fits my budget. The helmet is well designed, nice color, comfortable and lightwear. I ride my motorcycle everyday to work and this helmet complies with everything I need to make my travel safe.

For a cheap helmet it is good. The vents are not really functional, but I bought a full face helmet because I didn't want highway speed wind in my face otherwise I'd wear my MX helmet and goggles. It is comfortable, light, and functional.

Wasn't sure what to expect when purchase this helmet. Like many others I didn't want to cheap out when protecting my head. But my god this thing is nice. Fit and finish is even better than my $500 Arai helmet. I also bought the smoke visors for the more stealth look. Just bad to the bone.

This is the first helmet I have ever owned so I can't write any kind of comparison review. Based on the review of another buyer, I bought a helmet one size bigger, this was a good move as it is still a snug fit and I cannot put it on or remove it with my glasses on (the reason I wanted modular in the first place.). The noise seems to be pretty low, but, again, I can't compare. Doing 75mph on a bike I expect some noise, this does pretty well. I did have a bit of a problem with fogging while riding just after a rain, the vents are functional but didn't seem to help much. Clicking the windshield up one notch cleared the fog up immediately. The vents and the button for raising the face are easy enough to work with gloves but snapping the button on the chin strap is a pain. Overall the buil quality seems nice and sturdy, I feel like my noodle would be ok at a moderate impact. The flat black looks awesome.

Only good thing about it, besides being only 40 bucks, is the modular design for easy on/off. I bought the extra Tinted Visor which looks better.
