MEASURING YOUR HEAD before purchase: A small metal tape measure, or a cloth tape may be used to take your measurement. If possible, have a helper do the measuring in order to get a more accurate measurement. The circumference of the head should be measured at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows, or at whatever point gives the largest possible measurement. Then check the SIZE CHART above for a correct custom fit.

I originally bought one for my wife. We are the same helmet size, and when I tried it on it was soooo comfortable, compared to my expensive Arai helmet, that I decided to buy one for myself.
BOTTOM LINE: It's light, the flip up mechanism is really smooth, and super-comfortable - and you cannot beat the price.

This item was on sale for a really low price. I have had mixed results buying helmets online since you don't get to try them on. I have been lucky about half the time. This one, I would not call lucky. But it will make yet another spare.

The seller got it to me quickly and in good shape - no beef with the seller. But the helmet is very cheaply made. I wouldn't want to trust my brain to this bucket. Maybe in town, if it fit a little better, but in any case, I wouldn't recommend it. If you are going to wear a helmet, buy a good one, which means spending a bit more - and make sure it fits correctly.

By the end of the first week, one of the screws that hold the modular flip-up would not stay tightened. It was stripped, and had to be replaced. The interior (not the cushion, but the plastic the cushion clips to) came loose and had to be hot-glued back down. The vents barely allow air inside, most of it comes up from underneath. The sides stick out far enough that it is too large to fit in a standard helmet trunk. I would not recommend this product to anyone; save your money, wait a paycheck, and get something that doesn't feel like a chunky bicycle helmet.
