It is what it is. The glue it comes with is weak, so you'd better use something that bonds better. Also plan on being frustrated for a while trying to get the pegs into the holes. Works good, and looks okay though (just like the picture).

This came completely disassembled with a small plastic packet of glue. I am an experienced woodworker and even with that knowledge this was difficult to assemble and not really possible to get it square. Its in the back of a pantry shelf so Im not too angry but over all its cheap, poorly manufactured and I would not recommend it to anyone.

For the price this should get 5 stars. If you like putting things together, this is right up your alley.
However, this is not easy to put together. I'm a strapping 20-something and found myself sweating to "make it fit", as some of the dowels did not fit just right into the slots. Still not happy with how it looks. Assembly time 30min. You will need a hammer. You may find yourself frustrated during the construction process, as when you're trying to fix one part of the rack another part will come undone.

Total Waste,

Very unstable, and very ill-designed. Despite it's advertisement of "modular", it is held together with pegs (that do not fit the holes) which you, the buyer, glue together. Assuming you glue it together as square as possible it may not fall apart, but this is quite a challenge! I'm a pro at self-assembled products (ikea), but this one was very dissapointing. If you're looking to cheaply contruct a simple wine rack, you would be much better to make it yourself. Otherwise, look elsewhere!

I assembled it with Elmer's white glue and the assembly is strong and works fine. It's not beautiful but mine is in a cupboard.
