I like the size of the can and the pump is handy. I bought it with the pump to make it so we didn't have to lift the can to fill our generator. If you keep this in your garage, the fuel left over in the pump handle smells. You have to drain it back into the can (instructions supplied and quite easy) each time.

Overall quality of the tank itself is OK. However, the nozzle hose came loose at the tank end after only a couple of weeks, spilling gas all over me. The hose really needs to be fitted with some kind of clamp rather than just a push-on force. Plus the hose itself is a cheap plastic type tending to easily collapse. I'm in the process of purchasing a true automotive quality fuel hose with clamps. Bottom line is I would not have puchased this item had I known about this serious shortcoming. For the relatively high price charged the design and quality should have been better.

A design that still needs work. The plastic hose collapsed the first time I ran gas through it. The short hose on the inside of the tank got soft and fell off into the tank. They need to improve the quality of their materials to make this item usable. I bought some better hose and it works much better. There is a gas smell in the garage. I don't know if it is from the fuel left in the hose\ handle or that the valve does not fit very tight to the tank so that might be where the evaporation is coming from. I have to remove the siphon apparatus and cap normally when storing.

I would not recommend this product until improvements are made.
