I purchased this to retrofit a pressure tank setup on a johnson 5.5 1957 Seahorse. The connector is a good connector for installing on a tank but it proved a challenge for the retrofit due to 1/4" male fitting (a tank industry standard). So - great for new tanks, find other connector for outboard retrofit.
