Best planner ever,

This review is from: Moleskine Weekly Notebook 12 Months Hard Red Cover Pocket (Hardcover)
I love this notebook. It's been my companion for the last year, and I just ordered another.
I like the red because it makes it really easy to find. It's the perfect size, really compact and light, while still big enough to be useful. Each week is given one page- plenty of space to write in appointments, while the opposite page is lined. I use the opposite page for making lists of things I've to get done that week, or notes on appointments. There's a pocket at the back that's handy for keeping appointment cards or whatever in. You get fun stickers to mark important dates! If you need a weekly planner, get this one.

This is the perfect small sized calendar/planner. It is durable and attractive and comes with some really nice extras to help stay organized. I'll get one again next year!

Tnis is a very nice planner. I give it only four stars because it is a little bulky and heavy if you like to carry your "pocket" planner in a shirt pocket. It won't even fit in some of my shirts' pockets. If you carry it in a purse, backpack, or a "cargo" pants pocket, it is probably a five-star planner. I have a review for the soft-cover (and black) version of this at Moleskine Weekly Notebook 12 Months Soft Black Cover Pocket. Most of what I say about that planner applies to this one. I also discuss this planner as an alternative.
My preference is the Day-Timer Compact 2-Page-Per-Week Original Refill - 1 Book (see my review) but for reasons discussed in my reviews for that and for the above I can easily see how someone else might prefer the Moleskine, red or black, to the Day-Timer.

Hands down... The best planner for travelers!
Each week takes up two pages and there are plenty of lines to write about what you did or are going to do that day. And there are some 'bonus pages' in the begining such as: 2010 quick view calendar, international holidays chart, quickview 2010 calendar, 2 pages for travel planning memos, world map showing time zones, distances to and from popular cities, dialing codes to every country in the world, measures and conversions page, and a page showing international clothing sizes. Love the bright red cover, so cool. Like I said, it is geared towards world travelers and that is exactly what I will do with mine. Buy one then go and do likewise. ps: This item is a "twin set" meaning that a thin 12-page notebook is included inside the back folder. Good for writing extra notes on hotels, airlines, resturants, and things to do, then taking just the insert alone with you when you hit the town instead of the whole planner.

This is the best planner I've ever used as a college student, and I have tried many different planners. I was doubtful that this one would be large enough since I am used to using medium to large sized planners, but I was pleasantly surprised as this planner has adequate space for all of the information I used to keep in much larger planners. It also comes with an extra small notepad in the back, which I suppose is meant as an address book but since I keep addresses and contact info in my phone, I use the notepad for shopping lists, tracking my hours at my student job, and other extraneous items that I don't have space for on the regular notebook pages (and didn't have room for in my much larger planners, either!). The included stickers are cute but I never remember to use them, so they aren't very useful for me. The pens I use (sharpie pens and pilot G-2 pens) do leak through the pages slightly, but not enough to deter me from using the pens. Overall, this is an excellent planner and I will be ordering one next year as well. I'm very pleased to finally have found a planner I am completely happy with, and will actually use for the entire year!

I always carry a Moleskine Xsmall Volant notebook wherever I go, and love the Moleskine quality and durability. This year, I don't need a huge weekly planner, and bought this one hoping it would be nearly as easy to tuck into a pocket as my Volant. This Notebook Planner is perfect for what I want. There's enough room to write appointments without writing tiny, and the lined page is good for random notes. I would say it's as small as a planner can get while still remaining practical.
I wasn't sure if I would like the hard cover, which is as hard as a textbook cover only not as thick, but since it's so small it fits anywhere without needing to be squished around. I really like the pocket in the back with the stickers (I posted a pic), and also all the pages in front--Full year view of 2010, Full monthly view 4 mo. to a spread including moon phases, same thing for 2011, international holidays, travel planning, time zones for the whole world, measures & conversions, and even a page with a ruler. I still use my Volant because this planner is too big for a jeans pocket if I'm in the garden, running to the store, etc...

When I worked in the corporate world, I used to have a heavy bulky and expensive Franklin Planner. I've since put that aside and switched to the Moleskine. Not only is it easy to find in my man-purse, it's light and well organized. The layout can take a minute to get used to as the calendar is arranged vertically instead of horizontally but one can adapt quickly. The quality is what I've come to expect from Moleskine. Highly recommended.

Every year my daughter buys one of these planners, so to surprise her I bought her this. She received it for Christmas and she was super happy! Because of her positive comments about the ease and function using the Moleskine pocket size planner I knew she would love it, I also bought one for myself and she was right, I love mine too! I will buy this planner again for 2013 and probably every year after.

The best calendar to take everywhere! It's small - but not too small - and it fits in your purse, backpack, etc. I love how well it keeps you organized. The best part? It comes with stickers that keep you even more organized!
