Our old kitchen faucet was leaking in the hose, but we could never find a hose that fitted it. It appeared to be a 'store special', but I was under the impression that it was a Moen, and had been in touch with them a lot about the parts. They were exceptionally good. It turned out it wasn't a Moen, but they still took back the parts and credited me for them on my credit card.
Eventually I gave up trying to fix the old one and went for a new faucet, and with a Moen because I knew they had good customer service and parts for years. After shopping around, I got a good price on this unit on amazon and bought it. There was some fiddling around with installation, but mostly in removing the old one. This faucet installed quickly and easily. The instructions are good and it wasn't a major hassle (apart from the location up the back of the sink!). Once everything was tight, there were no leaks and operation has been flawless. After a couple of months it is still operating perfectly. I don't have to think about it now, as everything I want it to do, it simply does. The detachable head is very maneuverable and very handy. It goes back into its place simply and easily. I know that if anything goes wrong with this one I can order parts for at least a decade from Moen, and that they have good service/parts people. In summary, a superior product at a reasonable price. I don't think I would have got anything better for a lot more money: that is all about fashion, not function. This faucet is stylish and understated, works flawlessly and simply. Yes, I'd get another Moen, any day.

I purchased this faucet because I have the same model faucet at my condo in NJ - from 2006. Between then and now, the faucet is no longer the quality of the one I have there. When I received this faucet, it no longer had the same design functionality as the original. A small yet noticeable appearance difference is that there was no red/blue paint to indicate hot and cold. No big deal, I suppose. When it was installed, there was NO WAY to have the pullout handle secured into the base so that if you turned on the water and wanted to push the button to go from stream to spray (without pulling the handle out) the handle fell out of the base because there is nothing to hold it in, and the 2 pieces do not even meet evenly like the one I already have (and LOVE) does. Not at all the same quality - noticeably inferior to the one I already have.
