The Arbor pulldown kitchen faucet with MotionSense provides the convenience of having a kitchen faucet that can literally sense what you're trying to accomplish and respond to what you need, the moment you need it. MotionSense delivers convenience on command.

Moen's Arbor kitchen collection delivers streamlined and timeless transitional styling that meets personal preferences and houses a host of performance features. The Arbor one-handle kitchen faucet offers a high arc design and pulldown spout that features a 68-inch braided hose. This version comes in Spot Resist stainless, and it's also available in chrome and oil rubbed bonze finishes.

This Arbor kitchen faucet also includes Moen's unique MotionSense hands-free feature, which immediately responds to your needs without you having to even touch the faucet. That's because MotionSense activates flow based on simple hand movements. This convenient, hands-free control assists in accomplishing routine tasks with greater speed and efficiency. Plus, the hands-free technology virtually eliminates the need to touch the faucet, reducing the spread of germs.

The high arc spout provides the height and reach to fill or clean large pots while the pulldown feature provides the infinite maneuverability for cleaning or rinsing. When filling a vessel outside of the sink, the pause feature conveniently stops the flow of water as the wand passes over the countertop.

The spout rotates 100-degrees and the handle (right side mount only) rotates forward to prevent hitting the backsplash. Temperature is controlled by the 100-degree arc of handle travel. It operates in stream or spray mode in the pullout or retracted position, and it has a spout height of 15.9 inches. Water flow is limited to 2.0 gallons per minute (gpm), and the lever handle is ADA compliant.

MotionSense: A Responsive Hands-Free Faucet Experience

Imagine the convenience of having a kitchen faucet that senses what you're trying to accomplish and, without you even touching the faucet, immediately responds to your needs. Moen's MotionSense technology utilizes advanced sensors to detect movement in two sensing zones, setting water flow in motion. With MotionSense, tasks like washing dishes, filling a glass of water and preparing the evening meal are simplified.

Faucets with MotionSense can be controlled in three unique ways. The Wave Sensor at the top of the faucet starts and stops the water flow with a simple hand movement above the faucet. The Ready Sensor near the base of the faucet identifies when an object -- like a cup or your hand -- is placed beneath the spout. It runs water for as long as that item remains in range and automatically shuts the flow off as soon as the object is removed from the sensing zone. Finally, the handle on the side of the faucet offers familiar, manual operation, letting you adjust flow and temperature.

Moen Reflex Pulldown System

With Reflex, Moen has created the best, most user-friendly pulldown faucet experience. Driven by input from actual users, Moen focused on creating a comprehensive collection of improvements and enhancements that work together to naturally respond to the way you work, and the way you want your faucet to work. Along with an ultraflexible hose, the spray wand offers the greatest range of motion for exceptionally easy movement. And it returns to the docked position after use without additional assistance--no matter where it is released.

Hydrolock Installation System

Moen's innovative Hydrolock installation system allows water lines to be connected with a snap for faster and easier installation, eliminating the needs for tools. Hydrolock assures the connection is secure, with an audible, visual, and tactile confirmation of proper installation.

Spot Resist

Spot Resist does just what it says -- it resists fingerprints and water spots. Moen's innovative Spot Resist finish maintains the brilliance of your faucet or showerhead to help you spend more time enjoying your home... and less time cleaning it. And, when it is time for periodic cleaning, Spot Resist easily wipes clean.

Customer Reviews

The faucet looks great and works well.
I realize that not many people get really excited about a kitchen faucet, but I'm very happy to have this and will enjoy using it for years to come.
Denise Crawford
There has been no odd turning on by itself and works every time we wave a hand over the sensor or hold a glass under the faucet.

That is the question that I hope to help you answer. :) The answer for me after using both versions? To sensor.

Three months ago, I shopped around and settled on a Moen 7594SRS Arbor, which is the non-Motionsense version of this faucet in spot resistance stainless. So, I clearly like the look because I picked it over the other options out there. I really like it and gave it five stars in my review of it here. The Arbor design is very attractive to me and also very functional - the high neck and pulldown spout are excellent. I picked the sensorless version over the Motionsense version for three main reasons: (1) it was my first faucet installation and it looked less complicated to install, (2) it didn't have electronic sensors and a solenoid that could break down, and (3) it cost about $150 less. Last month, I got the very fortunate opportunity to try out the Motionsense model for free as part of the Vine program. So, I hope that my experience with both models can help you decide between them.

The video is mostly intended to show off the faucet and some of the features, as well as show the sensors working. More details are below.

Overall, I'm very happy with the sensors. The ready sensor located on the front is my favorite. For washing hands, it is excellent. I like that I use less water (because it isn't running while I soap up), and I like that I don't grab the handle with wet hands and get water spots all over it. I haven't used the two-minute sensor on the top much.

This touch free Moen faucet impresses me. I purchased mine from Lowes to replace an existing leaky faucet. Install time took about two hours, including removing the old faucet. The quality of the faucet and implementation are spectacular. It's high enough that I can get large pots under it, but not so high that it splashes water all over. Installation was straight forward, well documented and required no special tools. A screwdriver and a Crescent/adjustable wrench was all I needed. Once installed, I plugged up the power supply and everything worked perfectly the first time. No leaks, no malfunctions, just smooth well-designed controls.

The faucet has three ways to turn on/off. 1) The handle - pull the handle out to the right to start the flow, swivel handle to the front for cold, push it to the rear for hot, lean out further right for higher water flow. Once you've tested out the handle, you may find yourself rarely using it, preferring the two other methods of operating the faucet. I've not touched my handle in days. Like any other mechanical faucet, the water will continue to flow until you move the handle back to the off position. 2) Wave your hand above the top arc of the faucet and the water is turned on, wave your hand again, it goes off. It really is that simple and it works regardless of the lighting in the room. Dirty or greasy hands? Wave and wash, wave again to turn off. If you walk away with the water waved on, it will automagicaly turn off in two minutes. The water temperature for the auto on/off is adjustable and can be anywhere from cold to hot. The default setting is luke warm and is adjusted by moving a small lever on the control box located under your sink. This temperature setting is used for both sensors.

My Kitchen faucet that came with my house rusted inside and broke. I read numerous negative reviews on the Delta touch faucet so I decided to wait until the Moen Motionsense hit the market. I'm glad I waited because this faucet it is as good as advertised. I can't stop playing around with the faucet. My wife loves it and it's easier for my kids to get water without making a mess. I bought the faucet from faucet warehouse, not from Amazon because I preordered it (so I'm probably one of the first people to own it).

INSTALLATION. The install is very easy, in my opinion. It's about the same as any other faucet install with the exception of the control box. You install the faucet base the same as any other faucet. It comes with a tool to tighten it down so you don't need a single tool. After the base is installed, the differences come in. Normally you'd connect the faucet water supply lines directly to the hot and cold water supply valves. For this faucet, you screw a control box to the back of the cabinet. The supply lines from the faucet plug into the control box. The control box is what controls the flow via "motionsense." The supply lines are easy to connect to the control box, you just push them in. Then you connect the supply lines from the control box to the water supply valves. Everything is marked and is easy to follow. I would suggest you follow the instruction manual even though its not complicated. I also highly recommend purchasing the AC adapter. Otherwise, you will use batteries (Moen includes a set of batteries for the initial install). The AC adapter is not included (at least it wasn't when I purchased it).

USE. The motion sensors work wonderfully.
