Quickly and easily add 6 to 7 feet of elbow room to the shower without having to remodel with this curved shower rod in chrome from Moen's CSI Inspirations collection. Featuring a strong stainless steel construction with a 1-inch rod diameter, this package includes decorative covers that provide a stylish complement while also helping to conceal the mounting hardware.
Note that this shower rod was designed for installation between wall dimensions that are 59 to 60 inches apart. If the measurement of the walls is less than 59 inches, it is necessary to cut the bar. It fits standard 72 x 72-inch shower curtains.
This shower rod is backed by a limited lifetime warranty against finish defects to the original consumer purchaser. If this product fails due to materials or workmanship at any time during the life of the product, Creative Specialties International, a division of Moen Incorporated, will replace it free of charge, postage paid.

Review of Moen 5' Curved Shower Rod,

This review is from: Moen DN2155CH Curved Shower Rod, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement)
Though the unit is designed well and should work well, its length is not adjustable even by a few inches. Most 5 ft. shower stalls or tubs are not truly 5 ft but are either a few inches longer or shorter. Mine turned out to be shorter and hence could not use the curtain rod as provided. The designers at Moen, should have been sharper and aware of this issue when they provided a fixed length rod. You'd be better off buying a curved rod from a competitor which has an adjustable feature.

Piece of cake install!,

Ordering: Purchase experience was excellent. Product order was made to Amazon on May 22 and arrived in good order on May 26 via Super Saver Shipping (UPS).
Install: I found this to be an incredibly fast and easy install. Luckily there were studs at the bracket locations, so there was no need to deal with the included metal dry wall anchor inserts. Fortunately, I already had some 1.5" wood deck screws, which work great by the way, since wood screws are not included in the hardware kit. Install time from start to finish, including material/tool gathering, was no more than 20 minutes. When working alone, it helps to have a step stool and a good cordless driver-drill to drive the screws for a stud installation. Product: This fixed length shower curtain rod is a well made, nicely finished and sturdy unit. All parts fit perfectly, including the round bracket covers. Use: The additional 5" of interior space afforded by this shower rod may not initially seem like much, but in actual use, it really makes all the difference in the world. Try it, you'll like it! ;o)

Newly Installed Moen Curved Shower Curtain Rod,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Moen DN2155CH Curved Shower Rod, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement)
I just installed the Moen curved shower curtain rod (photos have been uploaded for you to see) and took my first shower in what is now my SPACIOUS bathtub/shower and am really pleased with the added space! Installation was simple. My only suggestion would be to use a stud-finder to make sure you're not hitting along side a stud. I ran into this problem at one end of the shower rod and ended up with a couple extra holes in the wall. I could not use #10 screws (not included) as a recommended because I was right up against the stud and not in the center of it and I could not use the expansion bolts (included) in that location because the stud would not allow them to expand correctly. So I ended up moving the assembly forward about 3/4". Aside from my stupidity, the installation took just minutes and the results are terrific. I'm also very please with the quality of the materials. Regards, Doug
