handle falls off,
This review is from: Moen YB5401ORB Kingsley Tank Lever, Oil Rubbed Bronze (Tools & Home Improvement)
This handle is very pretty but now hopelessly broken. It's made of 2 parts: the lever portion which is quite weighty and the round base. The lever screws into the base. I agree with the reviewer who said that it's a little hard to flush. Basically you have to crank down on the handle with more force than you should need. Because of these attributes, after a few years now the lever has fallen off the base and will not reattach because the screw threads are stripped. Moen is usually very good quality, I just think this was a bad design. I'm replacing this handle with the Moen one piece Brantford handle and hoping for better wear.

Looks good.... but,

This review is from: Moen YB5401AZ Kingsley Tank Lever, Antique Bronze (Tools & Home Improvement)
This handle is expensive, looks good with the matching Moen faucet, but doesn't work well. There is a pin and groove that limits the flusher's motion and that causes it to barely have enough range of motion to flush the toilet. Push it a bit hard to make sure that it flushes causes the part to rotate in the tank and causes the water to run forever.
Be happy with the functional flusher that came with the toilet even though it may not match.

This review is from: Moen YB5401BN Kingsley Tank Lever, Brushed Nickel (Tools & Home Improvement)
We purchased our home new five years ago. It started as a "spec" home, but we got it in time to choose our interior features, including door and cabinet hardware finish options. We picked satin nickel. However, all the faucets and towel racks were builder-basic polished chrome. While not exactly on a mission, I decided the time had come to change the faucets, toilet handles and towel racks to a satin-nickel-finish line as well. Our builder used Moen products so I started there and decided the Kingsley line met all my specifications (check my review on the toilet paper holder). While I am somewhat handy, I have never attempted anything to do with plumbing so I decided to leave all that sort of installation to our plumber (who also uses Moen fixtures). He noted that the interior lever was a little shorter than usual but no real problem. The new handle has been installed for two months now, works with no problems, and it looks beautiful. What's funny is that my husband mentioned to some co-workers that we had swapped out the tank lever, and most of them had no idea that you could do that!
