About the Author

Helen Nicoll worked with Jan Pienkowski for over twenty years, first at the BBC and then on the Meg & Mog stories. She owned and ran the audio company Cover to Cover for many years. Helen lives in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Jan Pienkowski is a celebrated illustrator of children's books. He has won the Greenaway Medal twice - for his illustration of Joan Aiken's THE KINGDOM UNDER THE SEA and for HAUNTED HOUSE. Jan lives in London.

My kids and I find this series immensely entertaining. Bizarre and intriguing situations got me hooked (this one is a trek with a sherpa and a yeti). Short enough to keep a one- or two-year-old's attention. Unusual vocabulary. Meg and Mog, Meg on the Moon, Meg's Eggs (dinosaur eggs!), and Meg's Veg are all fabulous.
