The definitive book on Mogok, Myanmar (Burma) and it's gemstones. This large format book is copiously illustrated with colour photos taken by the author. Not many of us have been to Mogok as it has been closed to foreigners for many years. Mr Themelis has received special permission to go to Mogok many times during the years it took to write his book.A fascinating look into the history, customs and lives of the people, in what may be the most important gemstone producing area of the World.
