Unpacking this I couldn't tell it from a new antenna. Everything you need is included, even the Velcro sticky dots, but you can also use tape to hang it. I installed this white side out near the ceiling (8 feet) in my bedroom with a hanging plant in front of it to hide it. It doesn't need to be hidden though, you have to look hard to see a white antenna & cord on a white wall. It picks up 39 digital channels (although some are duplicates) in my area, which is more than I pick up on the other TV in the living room which has a different type antenna hidden up in the attic in the garage. And no pixelation/loss of signal. I'll be buying more for my other TVs.

NOTE: Installed on a south-facing bedroom wall, one-story ranch with vinyl siding, not near a window, suburbs, flat ground; most of the towers I pick up are on the other side of the city, probably 20-25 miles away to the northwest, with the exception of one channel where its tower is 8 miles away to the northeast.

I cut ties with Comcast and went with Roku. But my husband still wanted access to the local news channels. I figured this antenna would do the trick and it has. We get all of our local channels in HD and so far have been happy with the transmission quality.

I purchased this antenna based on positive reviews, but was skeptical that such a thin antenna would be effective. When I received it and plugged it in, I was pleasantly surprised. Just randomly holding it up, I got 26 HDTV channels (which appears to be what I should get in my area.)I had the same results on the first floor and in the basement. I live in a suburban area about 25 miles from the towers and all the towers are clustered closely. Beyond working well, it is also inconspicuous, very thin and white/black reversible to blend with your decor.

The unit I purchased was refurbished and arrived in like new condition with nothing missing.I'll be purchasing a second unit for our other TV. Goodbye cable.

My "refurbished" Leaf Antenna came packaged as if it was a brand new item. No where on the box or packaging did it even mention it was a refurbished model. Mint condition. And it is literally "paper" thin. I was able to pick up 27 channels by hanging it on the wall inside of my network closet on the far end of the house. Great buy!

I mounted it in the attic and it pulls in all but the furthest channels in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill broadcast area

I really like the thinness and think this is a really great antenna, and then I realized what the problem was in my area. While most stations are on UHF, and come in really clear, The CW and PBS in my area are on VHF frequencies and the leaf is just not able to pick them up. That is a whole 5 channels that I am unable to receive. I would check what frequencies are being broadcast in your area before buying this antenna. If most are VHF, then a different antenna, may be better for you.

This very small antenna works perfectly in my low-rise Manhattan apartment that faces other buildings in the back. I placed it in my window and I receive every broadcast, HD channel perfectly. I'm very happy with it and even happier that I don't have to pay the cable company $100 dollars a month that my bill had slowly, but steadily crept up to. I got a Roku box and a DVR and I miss very little about cable TV
