5.0 out of 5 stars It's the best
I have arthritis in my back, neck and hips. I try not to take much pain meds. Once this wrap is all nice and toasty and I sit down I slide the pack down my back and lean back on my chair. I honestly do not feel any back pain for hours until I stand. I use it at times on my hips when laying down and it does help some.
I am sure anyone who has pain will try...

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't quite do it...
There are small heat packs inside the wrap, so it actually doesn't have any positive effect on my shoulders (there are packs in the two parts that go over your shoulders, then none on top of your shoulders, then packs a couple inches down your back). Plus it smells pretty badly and doesn't get as hot as other wraps I've owned. :(

I am sure anyone who has pain will try anything to be pain free. this product is a winner and I am considering purchasing a second one to use against my hip while seated.

This also helps warm the body.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Gift Idea, December 30, 2007
This review is from: Moist Heat Therapy Warming Back and Shoulder Wrap (Health and Beauty)
My mother was over joyed to receive this as a gift, and had to use it right away after hurting her back. After some time she seemed much more relaxed after using this product. It worked great for her. It even comes in a bag with handles. I think my mom will be taking this everytime she travels. Thank you!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Feels so good, February 2, 2009
This review is from: Moist Heat Therapy Warming Back and Shoulder Wrap (Health and Beauty)
This quite similar to the hydro packs my naturopath uses. It delivers moist heat. The weight makes it conform to the back and it stays in place. The right length too. I am short so it may not be long enough for all over heating for a tall person. Would recommend this to others.

Very relaxing spa treatment at home. The warm moisture seeps into sore muscles and joints and is very soothing. I learned about these heat pads from my chiro who uses them in her office. Much better than electric heating pads.

Good product. Very pleasant smell and works well.

Does take awhile to warm it up, but it's worth the wait.

Bought this for my husband whose neck and shoulder muscles tighten up from spending a lot of time at the computer. He loves it! It provides a moist heat which feels wonderful. It has aromatherapy scents in it too, which smells nice, but my husband thinks he smells like a ham because of the clove (our dogs even sit at his feet). lol All kidding aside, it is a wonderful heat wrap and I would highly recommend it for anyone with neck, shoulder or upper back muscle aches.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Soothing, January 16, 2011

I bought this for my husband. He is very picky about scents, but he actually liked this one (I didn't even realize it was scented when I bought it!) It is a soothing odor, not overpowering. The heat feels wonderful on tight sore upper back muscles and the fabric is very soft. Wish it came up more on the neck, but overall it is great. In fact, bought one for myself after I tried his!

Maybe a one-star rating isn't fair for a product I never tried, but I couldn't get this thing back in its plastic wrapper fast enough lest the perfumed, "aromatherapy" odor overwhelm my home. I imagine that in the middle ages they must have doused themselves with this sort of stuff to conceal body odor and onion breath. The emergency maneuver I performed to stuff the thing back in its bag, the bag in the box and the box in the mail could easily have made my back even worse, but it would have been in a good cause. I think I've made myself clear.

If you don't have any sense of smell--who knows?--this thing, whose size and shape is a great idea, might actually work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs., February 10, 2012

While I can understand why some people find this heat pack too fragrant I find it has worked out well for my needs. I am using it to help an upper back issue. It is large enough to cover my entire upper back and truly gives moist heat. I will says that the fragrance is stronger than would be ideal but I don't find it offensive and I am hopeful that it wil diminish some over time as has been my experience with similar style heat packs. One other note, this heat pack is large enough to need a medium to large size microwave to heat it up. There don't seem to be a lot of full back heat packs on the market and I'm glad I got this.
