A rare find.
It is difficult to find information about the Mojave Desert. This book is a rare find. My only complaint is that it was too short.

general information only so don't rely on it alone.
For the price it was worth picking up to add to my library on the desert southwest but it has no maps or routes listed, no trails or information about exploring the Mojave, but it does have very nice photos and is well written. Good general information on a few selected things in the Mojave as you would find at roadside displays, it is really a very small...

For the price it was worth picking up to add to my library on the desert southwest but it has no maps or routes listed, no trails or information about exploring the Mojave, but it does have very nice photos and is well written.
Good general information on a few selected things in the Mojave as you would find at roadside displays, it is really a very small pocket sized pamphalet and works well only as an addition to true guides. pick it up if you find it for a $2 bucks but skip it if it's more than $4.
