Operating at 90% heating efficiency, this infrared patio heater runs on regular household electric current and is substantially less expensive to operate than propane patio heaters. This adaptable unit can be used indoors and outdoors and has wheels for easy mobility. Infrared technology is safe, clean, odorless and silent. . Just plug in and let the heat fill your patio with warmth. Adjustable stainless steel frame is adjustable up to 93 inches in height. The base is 18" is diameter. Weight is 53 pounds total; the head is 8 pounds and the base and frame is an additional 45 pounds

Wow! After having the standard propane outdoor heaters for years, we were finally sick of having the propane tank filled and trying again and again to get the heater lit and then waiting for it to warm up the space. We bought this heater and it was instantly hot - we live on the ocean in California so this is something we need year around and we love it! We are buying a second one to cover the rest of our seating area outside! Could not recommend more highly!! I'm not sure why the first reviewer had no heat, the only possible reason could be that he forgot to plug it in!!!!

My wife and I love this lamp. We live in san francisco, and this lamp is great to have around. Warms up quickly. Good warmth. Only downsides are the infrared lamp casts a funny glow, and it shorted out an extension cord and scared my wife. But she's fine. And we still like the lamp.

So disappointing! I set it up today for the first time. It is 61 degrees out and no wind...and nothing!
