This DVD is amazing! These guys did a great job of capturing some truly historical moments. Their style isn't the most polished but that only adds to the fun and spontaneous "you are there" feel. This is real "guerrilla video". They did a great job getting behind the scenes and include a lot of extra material not directly related to SpaceShipOne but still of interest to space and aviation buffs like me. My kids loved it, too, especially the song at the end. They keep running around the house singing it and I'm having a hard time getting it out of my head. I heartily recommend this DVD to anyone insterested in SpaceShipOne and Burt Rutan's world. I found that they also have some great additional photos and video on their web site. If you're into Burt Rutan or SpaceShipOne then trust me, you'll love this DVD.

I bought this DVD last year and bought two more for Christmas gifts. As the previous reviewer says, it's "like a person on the side watching as it happens." Yes! That's exactly what it is and it's such fun to see what it was really like to be there when history was made. I also own the two Discovery Channel SpaceShipOne DVDs, and they're fabulous, but Mojave Magic has things they don't have such as the public comments the pilots made after their flights, the champaign spewing celebration with all the key people and lots of interesting background stuff about the Mojave airport and the aviation and rocket culture there. Where else can you see all that? I always wished I could have been there to see the Wright borthers' first flight. Now I feel like I was there to see SpaceShipOne. If you're at all interested in SpaceShipOne, I highly recommend you get all the DVDs, the ones from Discovery and also Mojave Magic. The Discovery ones give you more inside techy stuff, but Mojave Magic is a whole lot more fun and shows a viewpoint you can't get anywhere else.

And yes! I love the song! I want to go in a spaceship!

One of my professors gave us a project to watch this DVD and complete a project afterward. Everyone loved it, probably the best project we had all year! I learned so much, yet it was entertaining because they were in front of and behind the scenes of this exciting event. If you weren't there, you should definitely buy this DVD because it's just like the real thing!

it isnt made by the crew its more like a person on the side watching as it happens. id go with the one from discovery channel.its also cheaper! i woudnt buy this again.
