MOKAVE - worth chasing all their albums, January 29, 2009

The purcase of MOKAVE, Vol. 2 completes my search for all albums that Glen MOore, Larry KArush and Glen VElez created together. This album, like the others, highlights the incredible communion of musical spirit. Each artist is individually a master of their instruments and it is a treat is to hear their bass, piano and percussion melding. From the first song "Pepe' Lingue" the album pulls me into the melodies and keeps my attention with the direction the interactions take each song. Amidst the tracks are moments of notable virtuosity by each artist. It was worthwhile searching for all MOKAVE albums.
