Please be aware this product is no longer moldable after it gets wet once! Then it melts & sticks inextricably to the molds. My kids were disappointed. Apparently you are to make the shapes before bathtime and then use the soap for the bath, not mold the soap while in the bath which is kind of what the tv commercials imply. Once wet it turns into mush. Then it dries into hard unmoldable clumps. After first use I had to scrape it all up & throw it away. Waste of money!

This product is utterly terrible. The only way to actually mold the soap or play with the tools is to make sure the soap is not in the least bit wet. Great product if you want to have your children play with the SOAP in a dry tub. But wait! That would be just like play doh then wouldn't it? As soon as this "moldable" soap gets wet it becomes a big slimy and sticky mess. You can't do anything other than try and scrape it off your hands, your children, the toys, and the tub. Oh yeah, and it sinks to the bottom and gets stuck - then proceeds to STAIN the tub. Okay, so being unable to bring myself to actually throw away the crappy soap I think maybe I'll just use it. It doesn't lather - not in the least. And did I mention that it's slimy and sticky? All in all, it's a terrible product. You and your children would probably be happier using Play Doh in the bathtub.

Do not waste your money on this! My kids were sooo dissappointed! As the other reviews said, the stuff gets mushy and unusable as soon as it gets wet. Not what the commercial implied!!

The soap was so hard it could NOT be "molded" into anything. Once the soap gets wet it turns into mush. All the pieces of this ended up in the garbage. Total waste of money. I do NOT recommend this kit. I wish I had read the reviews before I made this purchase. Lesson Learned.

This was a total disappointment. It was on tv and my 5 year old daughter thought it was the cats meow. Turned out to be a gift for the garbage. It is like clay for the bath that sticks to everyhting and cleans nothing, I wish it had reviews when I bought it, cause I would not have!!!!

Box reads: "Soft and squishy soap lets your child bathe and clean WHILE creating super soapy shapes". If you fail to read the enclosed direction sheet of fine print you end up wasting the very limited quantity of soap this kit provides and having a sticky gooy mess in the tub that will not make any shapes.this kit is ONLY for molding the dry soap (provided) away from the bath!

This is fun soap. Make sure to mold it before you get it wet since wetting it makes it start to harden up. It's a fun project that turns into a useful item as well!

I agree with all the other reviews! It comes with not just molds but tools to spread it out and do all kinds of stuff just like play-doh but it sticks to the tools and the one I bought had like moldy brown stuff inside one of the containers! I use the tools and mold for play-doh and trashed the soap THIS PRODUCT IS CRAP DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE WE DID!!

Got this for my son's 5th birthday, and thank goodness it wasn't the only gift we got him - it is simply horrible! The box deceptively shows a kid playing with the stuff in the bath but fails to warn that the "mold 'n play" soap can't get wet and isn't suitable for bath time. Seriously, it's only once you open the box & bother to read the instructions that you find repeated references to using the soap DRY. Either way, it isn't malleable wet or dry. But come on, it's soap! And the kid on the box playing in the bath?!?! Save yourself the trouble & expense and buy a few bars of Dial soap, let them sit in water for a few days until they begin to dissolve, & give the resulting melty globs to your kids as toys. My 5 year old said it best: "This isn't as fun as it looked...pretty lame, Dad..."

My daughter got this as a gift, and she couldn't wait to take a bath and play with it. It was very disappointing. The soap is so stiff and hard when it's dry, that no small child would be able to roll it out, or mold it. When it's wet, it is impossibly sticky and slippery. You can't do anything with it, but except make a huge mess, until it dissolves in the tub. We were left with some new to play-doh tools....and alot of sticky gunk in the bottom of the tub. It's a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!! AWFUL!!!
