5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff is awesome!
Whenever I use this stuff it melts mold. I have used this on stuff bleach didn't touch. Seriously With mold problems just spray it on and watch watch mold disapear. If course It kind of makes me wonder what's happening to my lungs as I spray it, but this stuff works. I had a problem w/ our toilet water making a black mold on the inside of the toilet that I spent hours...

If course It kind of makes me wonder what's happening to my lungs as I spray it, but this stuff works. I had a problem w/ our toilet water making a black mold on the inside of the toilet that I spent hours scrubbing to no avail. I sprayed this on one day with a hope and a prayer and in about 2 seconds there was no mold. Used it in window corners that were left open to the elements and I didn't even have to scrub it melted the mold away. We always keep a bottle now it is the ultimate around the house mold remover.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!! Amazing Stuff!, August 2, 2010
This review is from: Mold Armor FG502 Instant Mold and Mildew Stain Remover, 32-Ounce (Tools & Home Improvement)
This stuff really works! I had a terrible mold buildup on a painted ceiling over a shower stall. I tried bleach (bad idea), Fast Orange, and a host of other mold/mildew removers, with very little success. I found this potion at Home Depot and thought I'd give it a try.

DO wear eye protection, and REALLY REALLY DO open a window! This is caustic stuff! By the time I got to the other end of the ceiling, the mold on the sprayed side had magically melted away! Even what I thought was 'stained' paint had turned bright white again! YAY!

Worth every penny.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works Like Magic!, May 28, 2010

Works Like Magic! Actually see the mold go away.

Does the job with out the elbow grease.

Gets into the hard to reach cavities & spots.

Used it & the WM Barr Mold Armor Mold Blocker it been clean of mold for about 3 months before I needed a reapplication.

-1 for The fumes are overpowering & lasts about 48 Hrs even when well ventilated.

Note: Bleach is one of the worst ideas for mold as the water content in it causes more mold to grow.

Update 02/16/2012 Bought for $7.47 still works great.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm pretty sure I just charred my lungs irreparably, but the mold is gone!, November 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mold Armor FG502 Instant Mold and Mildew Stain Remover, 32-Ounce (Tools & Home Improvement)
This stuff is amazing. All mold just disappeared and as an added bonus, some grime that I'm pretty sure was not mold, disappeared as well.

Unfortunately, I live in an apartment and my one bathroom is smack in the middle of my house. All the recommendations to open a window or keep the place aired out? Yeah, not so easy to do when you live in a smaller space. I nearly hacked up a lung while spraying this stuff and trying to escape was no use as the toxic fumes quickly traveled all over my home.

So yes, this product is great in that it does exactly what it's supposed to do. However, I would advise using this only as a last resort though, because I'm nearly certain frequent use would be akin to barbecuing your lungs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mold Armor knocks out Mold !, July 31, 2011

Mold is no match for Mold Armor FG502 !
3 simple steps .
1) spray it on mold .
2) wait 10 minutes .
3) wipe with a damp sponge .
I used this product on mold in my bathroom and shower , It totally wiped out the mold and the stains ! as others have mentioned it is strong smelling , but it works great and the smell goes away in a couple hours .
I would also wear rubber gloves and eye protection just in case , anything that works that well on mold , I would not want on my skin or in my eyes .

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Product I've Used for Mold Removal, May 23, 2011

I think I've tried a dozen different products to remove mold from our kid's bathroom. This product was by far the fastest and most effective. We have a bathroom with a recurring mold issue. We know that it is in the walls behind the tiles, but simply don't have the resources to replace the tiles, etc at this time. The in-laws are visiting this weekend, so I decided to see if there was a new product that I could use that would do a better job cleaning the mold in the kid's shower.

Saw the many positive reviews on this product and decided to give it a try.

Long story short - it just works. Based on many comments about the strong odor, I shut off the A/C in the bathroom and put a box fan in the opened window (do not use this product in an area that you can't ventilate well - it works because it is STRONG). Donned goggles, respirator and long rubber gloves (there was mold on the ceiling, so I knew I would be looking up into possible dripping). Sprayed all walls and the ceiling of the shower thoroughly. Waited 10 minutes and hosed everything down. I'd estimate that 95% of the mold was gone. Sprayed the remaining spots a second time and waited 15 minutes. 95% of what was left was gone. Finished off with a course sponge, some cleaner and elbow grease. Scrubbed everything down with sponge and cleanser to get rid of any product residue (and to give tiles a nice shine).

I've owned my boat for 3 years and it had mold stains on the seats since I bought it used. I tried bleach, & every cleaner for boats there is and nothing worked. Just by chance I tried this stuff and it removed those stains in seconds!! All boat owners should have a bottle of this stuff!!

5.0 out of 5 stars works on silicone grout!, November 21, 2010

I had always heard that *nothing* will get mildew out of silicone grout. I had mildew in the grout in a cultured marble shower. I had tried a lot of different products and nothing worked, it was getting gradually worse. I was planning to have someone come in and dig out the old grout and replace it. But I saw this product in a home improvement store and thought, what the heck let's try it.

The smell was something powerful, as others have noted, and it did not work on one application. I sprayed twice daily for about a month (had to keep the bathroom fan on all the time), and the mildew just faded away. I was so pleased. Now I give the grout a spray about once every month or so and the mildew has not returned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible - got rid of mildew and mold in our white tile shower, January 6, 2012

I was starting to give up on cleaning the grout in our white tiled shower until I saw someone recommended this product in a forum. I purchased it and sprayed it expecting it not to work. I came back 10 minutes later and the black grout was sparking clean and bright white. I became addicted and sprayed the whole shower and now it looks like brand new. Didn't scrub once, just let it take its course. Highly recommend, but definitely air out the room because of the bleach smell.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works, but ventilation is a must!!!, August 8, 2011
This review is from: Mold Armor FG502 Instant Mold and Mildew Stain Remover, 32-Ounce (Tools & Home Improvement)
My husband bought this because we have a damp basement that we at trying to renovate. I was worried about using bleah in the basement that doesn't have good ventilation so he bought this and said it shouldn't be as bad as bleach. Well, the mold is gone and the product was easy to use but I has 3 whole walls to work on so the fumes became very overwhelming. My throat is still scratchy 3 hours later. I have completely blocked off the basement as I have pets, and they would do very poorly with the air quality. I would use this product again, but if in the basement I would do smaller areas at a time.
