The Experimenter Series is an excellent series and is very helpful in every day bench work. The books are nicely written and very easy to understand.
As I was very satisfied with this series so far, I wanted to have the newly released edition of the "Molecular Biology and Genomics" (published Dec. 2006). However, after ordering it, I realized that this was the translation of the old 4th edition published back in 2003, although the fifth edition (in German) is already on the market since April 2006! So when you urgently need a good Molecular biology book, go ahead and buy it, otherwise wait until the current German version is translated. |
