My go to MCB book
I keep this one with me at all times in lab if I ever need to look up some basic mechanisms or pathways in the cell. This is my favorite Cellular biology book because it is not simplified like the Cell books.

Overpriced, but beneficial
I bought this as a companion to the Lodish textbook for my undergraduate molecular course. This thin black and white softcover explains solutions to the end of chapter questions; there is no study guide, no additional diagrams to help the student study. The book seems very overpriced at almost fifty dollars for a new copy, especially for something so meager, it could...

I bought this as a companion to the Lodish textbook for my undergraduate molecular course. This thin black and white softcover explains solutions to the end of chapter questions; there is no study guide, no additional diagrams to help the student study. The book seems very overpriced at almost fifty dollars for a new copy, especially for something so meager, it could have easily been printed in the back of the actual textbook itself.
Price aside, this is a valuable companion to the textbook because it offers well written explanations to complex chapter problems.
