This review is from: Moleskine City Notebook Kobenhavn (Copenhagen) (Hardcover)
I own several Moleskine City Guides and was very disappointed in the quality of the city map chosen for the Copenhagen edition. It is incredibly hard to read in comparison to the maps used for Paris, Amsterdam, or Tokyo. The scale of the maps seemed off and the street names, even if abbreviated, were often laid out with such large type that it made street layouts very difficult to read. In addition, the street names were often laid out at awkward positions, often angled and hyphenated for maximum illegibility effect. The cramped feeling of the pages (again, probably an indication of poorly-chosen scale) also made it difficult for me to do one of my favorite things with Moleskine City Guides, which is to mark my own points of interest directly onto the map.

Nevertheless, I still filled out the notebook with lists of sights, shops, and dining establishments to try, and I still used the handy pocket in the back of the notebook for holding ticket stubs and other ephemera from my trip... so it's not entirely useless.
