I've been wanting a Moleskin for a while, and I was not disappointed. I am using this primarily to keep track of my college class work. It is small enough to fit in my purse but still large enough to easily write down my assignments and to-do lists. There is even a little pocket in the back if I need to keep track of receipts or something of that nature. The attached place marker ribbon is very handy, and the elastic band keeps everything tidy.

I expected to receive two 2008 12 month planners. Since I ordered them midyear, I also expected, and accepted that the front half of the planner would be "lost" or that I'd need to backfill it from old planners from time to time. (ordered for myself and my wife)

I received two 2009 planners - which are now gathering dust on a shelf, and will likely be misplaced or forgotten by the time they're relevant and useful.

I like moleskine products in general, and use the moleskine journals and pocket-sized notebooks daily. My mistake was in thinking they (like other planner publishers) put out planners in a "rolling fashion" so that you can order one in July and put it to use immediately rather than wait 5 months...
