Moleskine Sketchbook Pocket

I already have 10 of those, and always make sure I have extras when one is near being full. Blank Moleskins are my official sketchbooks - I make sure that every time I sketch, it's in one of those. The paper is magnificent, smooth and has a nice yellowish tint. I use a pilot pen or ball pen to draw in these, it won't smudge, and can take some watercolor as well.. Perfect to carry in my bag. A truly well made and quality item. A necessity that I'm always happy to splurge on.

A friend gave me a Moleskine pocket sketchbook for my birthday last year. In the last year, this little sketchbook has become an almost constant companion, accompanied by a small bag of Prismacolor pencils. I've never been able to keep a written journal for more than a few days, but my Moleskine has become a visual journal. It's the perfect size to slip into a bag, purse, or even a pocket, and unlike many sketchbooks, is so well bound that it can take almost anything without losing a single page.
I just ordered two more of these pocket sketchbooks--I can't imagine going without one.

This is a nice little sketch book. Heavy paper like it says, but no where does it tell you that the paper is light yellow. you would think that that would be something to point out. Since no one else seems to think that this is curious enough to mention, don't buy this if you want white paper. Otherwise, it's a good sturdy little book.

A delight to write on. I really enjoy the quality and attention to detail that Moleskin instils in it's notebooks.
The sketchbook pages are just the right thickness to not let any pencil writing show-thru on the other side of the page. All-round great little notebook. The best of its kind in the market place right now.

Amazing sketchbook. Perfectly sized. The pages are thicker than the Moleskine notebook (great if you're planning on using any ink pens or other mediums other than pencils). The pages are also a light yellow, which is so much more nicer than having a plain white page.

Great texture and feel of the pages. Opens wide so you dont have to mess with the margin. I love the little pocket in the back too! Its really helpful if you're traveling and want to draw maps of places too.

I have purchased many journals but i found that the paper on this one is a great delight to write on. Its tougher stock really holds up well to a pen, and its a great size to keep on you. I have been keeping a running track of what my children do and say and its a great resource to use later to update my other larger journal and/or blog.
I will be purchasing more of these.

Moleskins are great! They're portable and great for writing, drawing, brainstorming--anything! I have some at home, some I bring with me, they're great.

(Note: yes, you can do all of this with a a SMART Phone and a computer and other kool stuff. But, by the time you pull out that stuff, start it and get ready to input data, your Opportunity could be already gone)

Get Retro - Learn to Read and Write!

I bought this product after I was pleased with the larger "Moleskine Sketchbook Large". It's size is perfect for keeping in your front or back pocket, while being big enough to allow for two or three small doodles per page.

My favorite feature about this book is that every two pages are nearly seamlessly connected. This allows me to sketch full landscapes across two pages.

I myself use this book to draw landscapes, and use the individual pages for single doodles or sketches. I also favor the strap, which just looks cool, and helps keep it closed. The yellow pages are also a joy, as they give the art it's own artsy flavor that white pages can'.

A must buy for anyone who needs a good pocket sized note/sketch book. I also suggest that you get the "Moleskine Sketchbook Large" as a companion.

As a final note, I use the product "Pilot VBall Liquid Ink Stick Roller Ball Pen, Micro Point, 0.50 mm, Black Barrel, Black Ink 12-Count (53206)" For my drawings, which works fluidly and never breaks or scratches.
