This is a lovely day book planner... I particularly appreciate that the calendar pages are on the left side, and that on the right side is a page for notes. (I wanted this particular day planner so bad I ordered it all the way from London!)

It also includes an addressbook and all the normal Moleskinerie goodies...

However, one complaint! IT'S NOT CRIMSON RED, it's RED-ORANGE.

I really don't like the color, it's too cautionary!

If this book were crimson cherry I would skipping through Londonderry...

Moleskins are one of my favorite things -- the form, fit, and function works well for me. Although I use electronic calendars and tasks lists, I like the format of this notebook: weekly dates on the left and a free form lined notepad on the right. I can record accomplishments, actions, general planning, event notes, etc. There's space in the back for notes (unlined), stickers to use with the indented/indexed section, and enough "give" to allow the user to customize to their liking and purpose. The infamous acid-free paper is durable and perfect for prosperity. This version is the perfect size for me and it travels well. I'm not to thrilled with the color options, but that's a minor nit.

I have searched and researched for quite awhile, trying to find the perfect weekly planner that I can carry in my purse. This is it! It's a beautiful planner. When I saw it in a bookstore, I was comparing it to a similar planner with similar page layout (by ecosystem). Once I held each planner in my hands, there was no question this was the superior planner in quality of construction and aesthetics. The cover, binding, and pages are excellent quality and wonderful to hold in your hands. The deciding factor for me was that this Moleskine planner lies flat on your desk, whereas its competitor does not. I love the details...like the page marker, the elastic loop that holds the book closed, the sturdy pocket inside the back cover, the tabbed section, stickers, and even a to-scale "ruler" printed on one of the pages. This is truly a classy, usable planner, one that I can see myself using over and over for years to come.

Moleskine makes the best calendar/notebooks! This "large" size is about half the size of 8.5"x11" sheet of paper, which fits nicely in my computer bag or decent-sized purse. The format with the weekly calendar on the left side and a blank lined page on the right side keeps me organized as my to-do-list! I use this EVERY day for the past 5 years. The thin satin ribbon helps mark the current week. The pocket in the back is quite useful for stashing small items, such as receipts, mailing labels and stamps. I just bought another one for next year 2012. I actually bought a second one as birthday gift to one of my best friends (filled out with important dates, such as all our friends' birthdays). I've also owned the black version but prefer the red color. It's a bit brighter than I prefer but it's easy to spot inside a computer bag or on a busy desk. In the past, I've tried the extra-large soft cover calendar but this one is just the right size and the hard cover serves as a useful surface on which to write notes. I definitely recommend Moleskine to friends and family and myself! Great quality and reasonable price = useful and professional gift too!

I used to obsessively make my own planners from blank notebooks, because I am very picky and my days are usually not time sensitive, but very detail rich. However, I stopped once I discovered the Moleskine brand. I've been using molekines as my personal planners for years. I love the format of this planner with the dates for each on the left and lined note paper on the right. It also has a couple of pages worth of conversion units, time zones, a ruler, and a monthly calendar at the beginning of the notebook. All very useful to me, as I use the monthly section to remind myself of birthdays, anniversaries, and bills. The weekly portion of the planner, I use for my daily activites.

The planner itself is durable and I have yet to have the ribbon or elastic band fall/snap off even though I use it every day. The binding is also very well made and there is not deterioration of the glue/binding. Best of all, no matter what page you are on, the notebook lays flat.

I highly recommend this planner for someone who is busy on a daily basis but doesn't necessarily have a day full of appointments and meetings (for that, I would recommend something that is larger and that has delineated time slots in each day).

I ordered this over 10 days ago and it's still showing as "not yet shipped"...I ordered it form moleskine's website last year and it took 3 weeks for it to come. I thought ordering from amazon may be different but I guess it's the same. Better to pay a few bucks more and pick one up at barnes & noble.

Every year I search for "the organizer"....Search is over! Moleskine is fantastic quality, easy to use, all the features I wanted. Very pleased!

Love this product. Get one each year Ordering on line much easier than searching in stores. Very efficient way to keep organized.

This is a great diary for making quick notes and organising thoughts on the go. As far as the format and layout go, this is better than many of this size diary which I have used due to the quality of craftsmanship, especially with the spine holding together well. Pocket and stickers in the back are also a thoughtful addition. Another top notch product from Moleskine

I love Moleskine calenders. My only complaint is that this year they removed the 2012 line calender at the front for a wall like calender of 2011. I like being able to note things that are going to be happening in the next year. There is always something to add. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with Moleskine, its the perfect size to carry around, add notes, directions, lists, what ever you need on the lined page beside each week.
