5.0 out of 5 stars Great pocket planner
I'm on year 2 with these planners, as in I'm buying one for 2009 and used one in 2008. For me, my schedule isn't too complex so having a whole week at a glance is the way to go. I also like the hard cover as it stays in my jacket pocket better and got less beat up in my shoulder bag. (compared with the soft cover paperback books I read on the bus.)

3.0 out of 5 stars disappointed in low-quality paper
Overall, it's a pleasant little diary, just what I would need - but unfortunately, you can only use ballpoint pen to write in it, as liquid type of ink (such as used in felt-tip pens, fountain pens) bleeds through the pages. What a disappointment!
Will make do for this year, but not buying this product again.

I like having a small pocket in the back. I like the quality of the paper, they hold the ink well and don't bleed through too badly. Although it does a bit.

Con:
The ink is very light and in low light conditions with my aged eyes is a bit harder to read than I would like. But the page ruling is just fine, so in order to print it in one run I guess we are stuck.

Mine also came with a small address book, which if you have a lot of addresses isn't big enough but if you just want to add a new one and don't happen to have your full address book along, works fine. The time zone map is nice, as is the weights & measures, clothing sizes, dialing codes per country and a few blank pages in the back. Very handy book. (Beats those electronic calendars hands down for managing a basic dentist appointment, dinner engagement, school holidays & birthday reminder sort of life.)

4.0 out of 5 stars A classic!, January 11, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
For a pocket planner, this rates very high for me because of it's size, quality of paper and layout. My only wish is this to have a place to hold a pen or pencil. Most others like Daytimers, Day Minders, etc. don't have one either. I would recommend either the hard or soft cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Planner for me!, November 10, 2009

Just the right size and structure- sturdy and small, fits in many of my purses and bags. I liked the address book addition and loved teh page layout. The elastic closure is helpful and the page marking ribbon is just plain classic functional design. I have seen it in more colors for 2010!

5.0 out of 5 stars No backup needed, November 17, 2010
By
I've been using this weekly planner for years. I was an early adopter of the Palm Pilot. I went back to paper and happily discovered the Moleskine because I never had to think or worry about backups or access to a computer. Having to manually enter repeating monthly meetings could be annoyance; I've turned it into a New Year ritual of sorts. Helps remind me of how much time I am committing up front. I write in my Moleskine using an ink pen. I carry a Tombo correction tape dispenser to cover over mistakes and changes. Works great. I like the pocket in the back of the planner. I keep business cards and a little pad of 1 1/2" x 2" Post-It Notes in the pocket. I like seeing my whole week at a glance. I usually carry the planner in my backpack. Fits in my suit jacket pocket. Or, when need be, I can throw it in my camera bag to have just in case. This is really a very nice product. No cons.

I have been using Moleskins for several years and this is my third calendar. They are perfect! I do not keep a busy enough schedule to warrent the use of a smartphone, so this old school manual system is great for me. Plus I like the ability to keep papers within the calendar pages - such as sticky notes or bills or reminders. There is enough space on each day of the week (I like that I can see a whole week at a time too) to jot in appointments and notes. My favorite thing is the blank lined page opposite every week-- I am able to write a whole week's to-do list or a lengthy idea for a project or notes.

The binding is soft enough and thin enough that it's easy to carry anywhere. There is an accordian pocket at the back for a few papers and an elastic cord that keeps everything together. This is my favorite calendar to use and I plan on getting one every year in teh future.

Moleskine planners and notebooks are wonderful products, which is why they've become so popular lately. You don't have to worry about losing your data, you don't have to worry about compatibility. These compact planners are easy to stick in your pocket and are a delight to use. They include space for phone numbers, a pocket for business cards, and some blank spaces.

It is exactly what I need in a planner. The weekly version is what I use. I wish they list American holidays as well but I can see how this is a universally friendly planner. I will probably stick to this planner now. Fits in my purse wonderfully.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!, January 28, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am addicted to Moleskine calendars and will soon purchase a little notebook. If you do not know Moleskine, you should check them out in person first. They are plain (little) calendars. And some people might be disappointed in them, if they don't know them. I loooooooooooove them. So best advice, go check them out before you order. They also come in many different sizes!
The only thing that I don't like about them, I think they used to be made in Italy a few years back and now they are made in China. But I haven't done any research on it to confirm such a claim. Just a feeling.
