This has to be one of the most versatile bags I have ever seen. It is very comfortable (fits big guys too, I am a 2XL). There are so many clips, pockets, organizers, places to hang stuff, and is so well thought out I am baffled. The shoulder bag either clips on to the back of the bag or may be carried on the shoulder. The bottom of the main backpack unzips and folds out for an approximately cubic foot extra. It zips back up with ease. The bag is sturdy and durable. The two side pockets are huge. I can carry all of my water purification equipment in just one pocket (Filter pump and accessories, Iodine and extra canteen). Then I have a whole other one to fill up. I could almost fit a two liter bottle of soda in one pocket if that gives an idea of dimension. If you are a backpacker, survivalist, or air-soft player you will not be disappointed. The only downside is that the bag does not come with the hydration bladder. However, you can pick one up from any sports/outdoor supplier, superstore, or on AMAZON. I also bought a medium Molle bag with the hydration bladder: MEDIUM Molle Hydration Backpack Pack w/ 2.5 Liter Bladder OD GREEN and found it inferior. This bag, is the superior bag and the superior deal. Also, great service with Pro-Line trading Corp. Quick, efficient, and notify you right away of any problems with your order.

I wanted to purchase a bug-out bag for emergencies in case I need to leave home in a hurry, like a tornado hit my area, or an earthquake or any other man made or natural disaster. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to do it either. This bag is the butt-kicker back. I have everything I need to be out on my own for a least a week. I have clothes, food, water in a Camelback, personal items, a small gun, an emergency blanket, emergency medical supplies, water purifier, shoes, MRE's. On the outside I've attached my sleeping bag, poncho, poncho liner, light jacket. The bag itself is not internally braced, so packing the bag correctly is critical for the comfort of the carrier. If you are a survivalist, this ACU digital camo is the same being used in the Armed Forces and is preferable to the woodlands camo that is used in hunting clothes. Purchase a bag for every one in your family for their own bug-out bag.

I bought this to build my first Bug Out Bag. This is a great pack. tons of room, sturdy. the extra pack is nice too. be sure to get some MOLLE accessories. Overall a great pack for the price.

I used this pack for about 2 years before replacing it with a Banjo Brothers waterproof backpack. It is good for hiking/camping though a bit heavy for just daypack use. I used it most for traveling as it fits a lot of stuff and fits perfectly in an overhead storage bin. Also, the detachable front is nice to use for personal items to keep with you in your seat while flying. For commuting on a bike it is not very good as it never feels stable no matter how much you adjust the straps. The chest strap is in an awkward place and never seems to go tight enough. The shoulders straps slip often. The waist strip is the best thing on it. This pack is OK for the money. If you just need something to travel with I would recommend it though don't get the ACU unless you want everyone to assume you are military. No offense to military personnel. I respect your commitment. For me it just made for some awkward conversations in the airport when every other person wanted to shake my hand and I had to tell them I was not active military. If you want something for hiking I suggest going with a more technical pack built for hiking/camping. For college students and cyclists: avoid it. It is uncomfortable and always slides to the edges of your shoulders unless the chest and waist strap are secured.

This is a really good bag although I do wish it was a bit bigger. But other than that, it serves its purpose when using it out in the fields or in the class room. Also the price for a bag like this is by far unbeatable. I would recommend it.
