Don't let the picture fool you, this thing will hold more gear than you can carry. I do most of my hiking in Arizona so I wanted to get rid of my backpack due to the heat. This butt pack holds my Esbit stove, tarp shelter, water filter, trail food and utensils in the center alone. The external pockets are huge as well. If you are a pack light type this can easily be used for a weekend trip. If I had a gripe it would be all the extra space makes me over pack. I use it with my ALICE suspenders because it will sag when stuffed. Love this thing for hunting trips. All my gear stays secure and out of the way even through the rough stuff.
