From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 2. In the form of a dream, a cat reminisces about how her mother found her a home after the rest of the litter was taken to an animal shelter. Mother Cat's prayer to the God of all Creatures was answered, and Molly found herself living with Mother Mary. With vaguely religious overtones, the cloying story has equally saccharine full-page illustrations in watercolor, gouache, colored pencils, and acrylic. Possibly of interest where strong "moral" stories are sought, but unnecessary in most collections.?Sally R. Dow, Ossining Public Library, NY
