The product description for this chandelier didn't specify if it was plastic or glass crystals, but I took my chances because of the price. I would have preferred it come with a light bulb to start out with bc the base for bulb looks big (since it's purely for decor), i'd rather have a smaller bulb, lower lighting). I wish I would have spent a little more and got a bigger size, more crystals chandelier!
