More About the Author

Dennis K. Biby (1949 - ) was born in Enid, Oklahoma and grew up on a wheat farm in Grant County. Since graduating from Oklahoma State University he has moved about the planet, often traveling on a sailboat that he calls home.

As a liveaboard, single-handed sailor who gazes over the horizon, Mr. Biby (BY-BEE) has difficulty living in one locale for more than a couple of years. He has survived as a naval officer, electrical engineer, software developer, entrepreneur, author, and others. While living aboard Sun Po in Hawaiʻi and occasionally anchored off Molokaʻi and Maui, he penned (keyboarded) "Molokaʻi Reef."

"The Last President", a political thriller, is scheduled for release in January 2010.

He lives aboard his current boat, Ferrity, on the Chesapeake Bay - for now.

Good descriptions of sailing and the islands.
Not enough murder mystery, and an overabundance of environmental preaching.
The doobie smoking macaw was probably the best character in the book.
