About the Author

Jodie Lynn is an award-winning internationally syndicated family/health columnist and radio personality. Her syndicated column Parent to Parent has been successful for over 10 years and appears in newspapers, magazines, newsletters and throughout the Internet. She is a regular contributor to several sites including eDiets, KeepKidsHealthy, ClubMom and is the Resident Mom Expert and Spokesperson for BabyUniverse. Lynn has written three books and contributed to two others, one of which was on Oprah and has appeared on NBC in a three month parenting segment. Her latest book, prior to Mom CEO, is Syndication Secrets, March 2006 and Mommy CEO, April 2001. This book is awesome! I just got my copy and could not put it down. It is so down to earth and an easy read. As a busy mom I want books that get to the point. I was thrilled to find it is filled with recipes and tips you will want to use again and again.

It covers child birth, breastfeeding, potty training, reading skills, age appropriate tips, gifted children, and working at home. As a WORK-AT-HOME mom I loved this book.

My daughter is expecting a new baby and I will pass it onto to her as well. It will make a great gift for any new mom.

Just got my copy three weeks ago and it totally rocks! I have never seen a parenting or any book on motherhood offer recipes throughout the book. It's a first for me, very unusual and I love having these right at my fingertips.

There's so much useful information in this book that it will surely become quite popular. For example, in so many other books, things are repeated over and over. In this one, each parenting topic is new and like she says, are some of the most popular.

It begins with telling us how Hollywood moms are lucky enough to hire nannies as first time moms and then jumps right into why what we see on TV and in magazines is pure fluff to the every day mom.

From preparing your body for pregnancy, getting pregnant, having the baby and all the way to important tips on baby, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary school aged-children, preteens - tweens and teens, it's amazing.

I'm not sure which area I love the best, but I can really get into the tips and sections on Making Memories and Building Traditions (these are AWESOME and EASY ideas), Work At Home suggestions, Organizational and Travel with kids tips, plus all of the recipes -- there's at least three to four at the end of each chapter, which so far, my kids love.

I love Jodie Lynn's books, columns, articles and radio segments. Not positive, but she may be the first to ever have such an amazing book cover celebrating three nationalities -- it's so like her to come up with creative, yet sincere ideas, in reflecting how all moms are the real CEOs in life and each one is a Mom CEO - Chief Everything Officer.

There is also a Mom CEO Creed which is printed in the book and it's right on target in describing the life of a real mom. Probably like me, you will be typing it in an email and sending it out to all of your friends -- it's that incredible!

I have all of the topics marked about having a successful school year, like homework help, parent/teacher conferences, building listening skills, teaching kids to love to read and activities to help your first, second and third grader write better (as in better handwriting), how to choose a preschool that's right for your child, getting ready for kindergarten, and the WHO IS IT? safety game she created works really well with my two younger children -- and much more.

I say it totally rocks and each mom should have their own copy --perfect for showers, gifts and the Holidays! Thanks Jodie Lynn - thanks so much!
