Format: Hardcover
When young Sam brings home a rather unusual pet, his parents are oblivious to the large new addition that has taken up residence in their cellar as Sam tries to figure out how he will get to make his new friend a permanent addition to the family. The new friend being a full fledged dragon! T.E. Watson's lively and imaginative story is nicely punctuated by the equally lively and imaginative illustrations by Dave Patterson. An exceptional picturebook recommended for family, school, and community libraries, Mom, Can I Have A Dragon? is delightful reading certain to entertain picturebook readers from 6 to 12.

My grandchildren loved the vivid illustrations in the book. Often they would look at the pictures and make up their own story!
