My Mom and Dad Don't Live Together Anymore is a unique journal and drawing book for children whose parents have separated or divorced. It is created by art therapist Judith Rubin, the "Art Lady" on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood television program in its earlier years. Art therapy is an effective means for children to express their thoughts and feelings, helping them cope with, work through, and resolve the issues they are experiencing regarding the break-up of their family and all the ensuing changes. The entries are very open-ended and each page allows the child to express his or her true feelings, thoughts, and experiences.

This is a fantastic books for kids. They can draw and write about their feelings in regards to the marriage, the divorce, and so much more. It has really helped my daughter so much. She has even told us how much it helps her and how much she enjoys it.

I bought this book that was reccommned by another person for my Grandson. My Daughter and her Husband have separated and I thought this book might help answer some of his questions. It is a nice book but too old for a 5 year old. Better for pre-teens and above. It is a question and answer coloring book.

A great starter for talking about divorce. Lends itself for the child to create their own book. Great for elementary age kids.
