My review of this book is pretty personal. Robert Samaras is my grandfather. Valerie my Aunt. This book to me was very well written. It showed how alive my Aunt was. It showed how she lived her life to the fullest even though she was sick. No matter what she never let that stop her. It also gives you a good knowledge of the background of Cooley's Anemia. It helps you get a better feeling of what she went though. This book also showed how her family loved her and how she loved her family. This book is very hard to read if you know Val. She was a very loving person. If you know someone that has this you should read this book and have them read it too. I know it helped me understand things. It also made me reliaze that no matter how bad things are you can make the best of them. Val was one of the most terrific people I know. I loved her very much. And by reading this book it helps me remember her and keeps my faith up when things are down. She was a very courages person and lived life to her fullest and I really realized what she went though (and what others go though who have this) by reading this book. If you read it I hope you enjoy it and that you learn alot from it. I would love to hear your comments. And so would my family. This is a very easy book to understand and very well written. Enjoy.
