I didn't read every word of this one, but skimmed the parts that seemed most applicable to me with a business selling a good (as opposed to a consulting business). I'm not sure who would find it a great resource, it's very basic and broad with not a lot of specific detail. The resources pages aren't as detailed as I'd have liked, and way too much of the book is taken up with inspiration interviews. I much preferred Craft, Inc. by the same author.

Format: Paperback
As a mother of four and a "stay-at-home" mom of 12 years, Mom Inc. resonated with me. This unique book is at once inspiring and practical. The interviews with mothers who juggle the demands of motherhood along with the demands of running a creative business repeatedly highlight the fact that it can be done. Through several real life stories, Ilasco and Seto illustrate how one's passion can be developed into a successful and fulfilling career. Additionally, Mom Inc. serves as a useful guide for starting a creative business in today's Internet heavy world. This book abounds with constructive ideas on blogging, approaching target clientele, developing realistic goals and running a business from home and beyond. I highly recommend this book to any mother yearning to pursue her dream career while balancing the role of parenthood. A motivating and valuable resource!
