Book Description

The Mom on the Go: Holiday and Chilly Weather Recipes cookbook doesn't tell you how to make a turkey or any traditional holiday meals. This cookbook offers recipes for those celebrations when you want something different. Who doesn’t love a great roast or casserole? They make great one-dish meals and can transport pretty easily. You can make them ahead of time and reheat or take for a potluck or to a sick friend. Roasts and casseroles are great because you do the prep and the oven will do the rest. Set a timer and go relax.I think that stews and soups are the ultimate comfort food. They warm you up on a cold day and make you feel better when you are under the weather. But honestly the best part of stews and soups is how easy they are to make. You toss some ingredients into a pot and leave it. Yummy! This book also offers desserts and ideas for using your leftovers. I hope you enjoy. Happy cooking!

These are some good recipes! There were a few I didn't already know. I look forward to making all of the recipes in this book, especially the peach cobbler cake.
