The score for "Mom and Dad Save the World" is better than the film is was composed for. The music for the sci-fi comedy largely comes across as a wacky take on Williams' "Star Wars"-type marches--not parodies, but unique music that brings them to mind. ("Meet Spengo," "True Power," "the Rebel Dance" and "The Flight Home" are particularly nice.)

I wouldn't rank it among Goldsmith's Top Ten scores, but I think it's definately worth a listen. It's shows his more playful side as a composer.

If you want to hear a funny score this is it although it has tradional action music too it's also quite silly it'll put a smile on your face
