One of Goldsmith's most playful works,

The score for "Mom and Dad Save the World" is better than the film is was composed for. The music for the sci-fi comedy largely comes across as a wacky take on Williams' "Star Wars"-type marches--not parodies, but unique music that brings them to mind. ("Meet Spengo," "True Power," "the Rebel Dance" and "The Flight Home" are particularly nice.)I wouldn't rank it among Goldsmith's Top Ten scores, but I think it's definately worth a listen. It's shows his more playful side as a composer.

If you want to hear a funny score this is it although it has tradional action music too it's also quite silly it'll put a smile on your face
