After I picked up EDL's "Moment of Clarity" without knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of production and power packed versatility offered throughout the 13 tracks. If you're a fan of bands like DIAL 7, Rage Against the Machine, or even the Deftones, this disk is for you! My favorite song is their cover of the decade old hip hop group BLACK SHEEP's hit single "The Choice is Yours" It's flowin! "Moment of Clarity" really defines the peak of EDLs musical growth over the past few years...Pick this one up!!!!

Did you know there are actually a few bands out there that are BETTER THAN LIMP BIZKIT? Perish the thought! Well, this band is one of them. Actually, in my opinion, these guys blow Limp out of the water. Lead rapper guy Tedd's fast-paced vocal stylings put Fred Durst to shame and EDL has a harder, more raw edge to it than the Bizkit, especially since Limp decided to make their sound more "radio-friendly". These guys have no qualms about who they are, what they play, the message they're trying to send, or their faith. And guess what? They scream about all kinds of issues on "Clarity" too! But hey, enough ranting, let's get to what counts: the real standouts on this CD are "Relocate" (a great head-bangin' track), "Let it Ride", and "Represent". They mix up their style a bit too, with the almost-pop sounding "Time to Change". They also do a decent cover of Black Sheep's "The Choice is Yours". These guys were making music before Fred and the boys showed up, and I'd even go so far as to say to some rapcore fans that this one is a must-have. Definitely a lot of fun (and screaming along with the chorus is great for releasing aggression, as long as the neighbors don't mind!)

edl have been around for a while. they were doing "rap core" before fred durst and his millions of minions could even spell the term. this is by far their most well produced album and i salute them for that. they have a definite hardcore appeal to them and they throw in just enough hip hop and rock to make it interesting. tim cook is an intriguing vocalist and he is quite talented at switching from rap to rage to a little melody when he wants to. they have a positive message too and that is kinda hard to fine now a days. all in all it's a good cd.

This CD is EDL's turn-around point in their career! These guys have lots of courage to create a Christian band. They show hardcore styles in Let It Ride and Hip-Hop/Rap styles in The choice is Yours and Enduance and pretty much the rest of their songs. I live in Ohio, so I get to listen to Tedd Cookerly (lead vocals) every Morning on The RIOT morning radio show. I couldn't believe that he was the same person. Go to radiou.com to listen to him. Anyway, this cd has unique styles that weren't imaginable to me. Buy this CD and be pleased!

I bought this cd a couple months ago and I'm still listening to it and singing along with the quick rapping of the lead vocalist. This album is really heavy and loud. Some of my friends and I agree that the rapped vocals sound like Eminem, but these guys were way before him. The last couple of tracks aren't that great, actually they pretty much suck, but I'm still diggin' the album. A great, loud, positive band rockin for Christ and the kids. I recommend it. Peace and God bless ya'll.

While I will enjoy this album for the continued exposure to Tedd Cookerly's vocals, the band seems to be trying an experimental approach for their third album. I'm not sure how much I am enjoying this difference. W this said, the album does include two cover w The Choice Is Yours and Time To Change and deep bass tracks w Wrecking Ball and Endurance (Remix).
