4.0 out of 5 stars Always a breath of fresh air, May 16, 2001

This review is from: The Moment of Existence: Music, Literature, and the Arts 1990-1995 (Hardcover)
There is a certain way a discerning mind thinks and every time I read a book or article by Robert Craft I can't help but to wonder why other music writers of his generation lack his clarity of thought or fortitude of conviction.

In Craft's book The Moment of Existence, he captures the essence of music, art, and the global understanding necessary for understanding new works by composers as well as all artists. I reccommend this book to anyone who often feels they are on the outside of the glass looking in on THE ARTS.
