I was actually quite disappointed when I first saw the booklet, because it was such a small publication, especially for the money. However, great things come in small packages! I read a page and then another and another; I couldn't put it down! Ms. Richards' devotionals are written out of raw and honest emotions. She doesn't sugarcoat her trials with her children and their father and his family with religious jargon and insincerity. She's brutally honest about her circumstances and holds nothing back when taking her attitudes to the Lord for His guidance, correction, and widsom. I've tried to read many devotionals all the way through; however, "A Moment With God for Single Parents" is different. It's captivating and truly spiritual. Well worth the asking price!
