Aha, now I understand why Simon is so tough.

Simon knows exactly what he is looking for on American Idol or his European versions of AI. He wants the entire package and when he sees it, he grabs it, that's it in a nutshell. Simon wants the best and will not settle for less. He got the best when Leona Lewis came along.

Leona's voice is a voice we will be listening to for generations to come. She is one class act, classy voice, classy looks, classy dress - she's got it all, and now I will no longer get upset when Simon tells it like it is because he knows the "best" when he sees it and he knows who will make it and who won't.

She's a gorgeous girl, but her demeanor is just darling... she's very humble and soft spoken, but boy can she belt out a song! All three judges praised her, and Simon said that finally Britain has a girl singer as good as Whitney, Mariah or Christina., and that she is the best contestant he has ever had on any of the shows! Wow, from him that's remarkable. I prefer her voice over all of their voices, so look for LEONA. Simon said she's going to be a worldwide star & Louis agreed. I was a little disappointed that her first CD single is "A moment like this," seems like they could have come up with something more original, but I like her a lot more than Kelly Clarkson. She's very sweet and humble.

I think Leona did a nice rendition of "Moment like this". However, I don't think anyone could match the vocal prowess, emotion and texture of voice like Kelly Clarkson did. Leona's version is mostly a copy of Kelly's (except for a couple places) and I found myself wishing for the original. On the other hand, had I never heard Kelly, I would have thought Leona's version was pretty good.

Hey, since this is an import, I paid $12.00 for this 2 song disc. Trust me, I was hoping that I would love it. I didn't. I guess you will have to judge for yourself.

This is one of the best singles I own!! Leona's voice is just breathtaking. I love Kelly Clarkson's voice too, but believe it or not I do not like her version of "A Moment Like this". Leona's version it's flawless & full of emotion. The same can be said of "Summertime" & "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" (I LOVE all three songs, but the last is my personal favorite). "A Moment Like This" can be found on her album "Spirit" as a bonus track, but "Summertime" & "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" are only available on this single. Get it if you like Leona's voice, you will not be disappointed!!

If you have never heard Leona Lewis, you need to...she has the most beautiful voice. She can be compared to Mariah and others because of how good she is already. Simon Cowell does know what he is doing and this proves it. One of the prettiest songs is: "Footprints in the Sand" one of my favorites. If you ever heard her you will want to know who that is so that you can purchase her music.

Disappointed that there were only 3 songs on this one - all sounded the same. Liked her other CD much more. Would discourage others from this purchase.
