Book Description

February 2, 2012
Comedian Lee Camp finally turns his popular ranting, raving "Moment of Clarity" webseries into a convenient, easy-to-carry paper version. Moment of Clarity includes 90 of Camp's angrily opinionated, hilariously acerbic humor columns. It also includes 20 never-before-seen photos by professional photographer CS Muncy from the front lines of the Occupy protests. Moment Of Clarity somehow takes the palpable anger that exploded across this country in the form of Occupy Wall Street and turns it into something palatable yet toxically funny.

5.0 out of 5 stars We need more minds like Lee Camp February 3, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Lee Camp is one of the sharpest minds working in comedy today. His Moment of Clarity videos have brought laughter and insight to my desktop on a regular basis for quite a while now and I am thrilled -- THRILLED, I say -- to learn that the texts are now going to be available in book form. His switchblade wit cuts through the cultural obfuscations, the mass-media haze, the overworked talking points and reveals the world in the naked, simple terms in which he sees it. Lee is not a comic who goes for the joke regardless of its implications. Lee is a visionary artist who uses the darker shades of comedy as his palette. Buy this book. Subscribe to his youtube channel. This young man's mind, bright and dark, will bring your whole world into stark relief and make you laugh while it happens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Carrying On The Legacy of Carlin and Hicks February 6, 2012
Format:Paperback
If you are like me, you look for certain individuals in the world of comedy who stand as a beacon of humor in a very cynical time. In the legacy of Lenny Bruce, George Carlin and Bill Hicks; Lee Camp continues that proud legacy as a man who through clarity of reason, finds the humor that comes with a world that teeters on the precipice of insanity or at the very least, uncomfortably stupid.

Lee is more then a comedian, he is an observer and commentator, an activist and antagonist (google Lee Camp + Fox News). His weapon is humor to often slice through a political and media landscape obfuscated by half truths and special interest. These words in this review only scratches the surface. Lee has a brilliant future ahead of him, if you're a fan now, then you will be happy to see how his career evolves. He is the anti- Dane Cook and on that basis alone you should buy this book.

Smart, bold, funny.
Five Stars. Hands down.
