If you are like me, you look for certain individuals in the world of comedy who stand as a beacon of humor in a very cynical time. In the legacy of Lenny Bruce, George Carlin and Bill Hicks; Lee Camp continues that proud legacy as a man who through clarity of reason, finds the humor that comes with a world that teeters on the precipice of insanity or at the very least, uncomfortably stupid.
Lee is more then a comedian, he is an observer and commentator, an activist and antagonist (google Lee Camp + Fox News). His weapon is humor to often slice through a political and media landscape obfuscated by half truths and special interest. These words in this review only scratches the surface. Lee has a brilliant future ahead of him, if you're a fan now, then you will be happy to see how his career evolves. He is the anti- Dane Cook and on that basis alone you should buy this book.
Smart, bold, funny.
Five Stars. Hands down.
