This book is an incredible comfort and guide to any couple struggling with infertility. Ms. Garrett touches on an extremely broad set of issues, from the Christian perspective on fertility drugs to handling insensitive comments, trusting friends, dealing with doubt, etc. She provides a Bible verse and spiritual guidance on each issue. This book would also make a very thoughtful gift for friends or family dealing with infertility.

In my struggles with infertility and miscarriage, I have found Ms. Garrett's book the best one out there. My husband and I use this as a devotional each night before we go to bed. The short stories have hit right on the mark of feelings and situations we are experiencing, and give practical, Biblical advice on them. It is great to hear what God says about our struggles, and I am so glad that this book is available. Highly recommend it to everyone who is searching for comfort on their most awful days.

I am not extremely religious, but definitely believe in God and that "everything happens for a reason". I found this book to be most comforting to put things into perspective and put my mind at ease while trying to conceive. Whether you are impatiently waiting or suffering from a physical impairment blocking your ability to get pregnant, this book is great.

Also recommended: "Healing Mind, Healthy Woman" by Alice Domar.

This is a great daily devotional for anyone going through infertility and at any stage. My husband and I find it very comforting to be able to seek God's wisdom and guidance. Infertility makes you feel so helpless but guides like this can help you stay hopeful.

I loved this book. We are at the beginning of a journey we never wanted to take. This book has provided sound biblical advice and encouragement for both me and my husband. The writer has found a wonderful way of writing just what I needed to read at just the right moment. I have shared many of the devotions with my husband and he has enjoyed it as well. I recommend it highly. The author truly has a devotion to encourage you during every step of the journey. Moreover, if you have a friend or are in ministry this makes a very comforting gift. The author doesn't make any foolish guarantees or empty promises but manages to give the reader hope and points to Christ as our ultimate source of peace.

THis book offered everything I needed to guide me emotionally and spiritually for getting through trying to conceive. Every time I started to feel hopeless, a friend getting pregnant and me still TRYING, another negative pregnancy test, etc. I could turn to this book and find a moment that I could relate to. SHe covers it all - there's something in this book for everyone. Her journey is inspiring and comforting, giving hope for your personal infertility struggles. The prayers are written out and help guide your personal time with God. I recommend this book to ANYONE who is hurting and desires to find peace and comfort through God.

This book was a huge blessing to me and my husband. It always had relevant information and the stories and concepts portrayed in each devotional hit home every time! There are so many struggles and situations that come up when facing infertility issues, and it was comforting to hear some advice on what to do in those situations - but mostly continue to rely on God. I definitely recommend this to any couple facing infertility!

"Moments for Couples Awaiting Children" is a great book. It helps the struggling understand their emotions and why they feel the way they do. It helps people whom have never struggled w the battle of infertility to understand and help those they may come in contact with. All around... a GREAT HELP. A MUST READ FOR ALL. The "moments" are written in smaller segments so they can be read in minutes and each one comes with an example prayer which truly helps the Christian/ or anyone struggling with infertility to find the words they have been lacking to speak with God openly. The example prayers are ones that the author herself prays for each infertile couple.

this was recommened to me by a couple who had struggled with getting pregnant and miscarriages. My son and daughter in law have gotten pregnant, but lose the baby(s) at around 6-7 wks. I bought it for them. I have not had any feed back from them on the book.

This is a great book talking about couples who are waiting for a family and dealing with infertility and ALL that goes with it. Especially how you feel. Ferility issues are personal and have many emotions tied to it. The author speaks out of relationship with Christ, the Word and personal experience. I am always encouraged when I read it. A must have!
