This was one of the first CD's by Ray Boltz that I bought and that was way back before 2002!

Ray Boltz is definitely up there with Michael Card and Dallas Holm as far as writing great lyrics are concerned. He also has a great voice and style of singing.

This album contains many great songs from the upbeat and beautiful 'Here comes a miracle' to the profound and solemn 'Watch The Lamb'. The song 'Watch the Lamb' puts you right there in Jerusalem during the crucifixion of Jesus and is absolutely heart wrenching. I believe that songs like these (including 'The Hammer') are ones that can bring a non-believer to Christ.

My other two favourites are 'Shepherd Boy' and 'You Will Always Be a Child' and the closing song 'Take up your Cross' is very challenging and always reminds me that Jesus expects me to follow Him wherever he leads.

If you are looking for a great Christian album, this is it!

Plain and simple, this cd brought me to Jesus! Nuff said!

During a difficult time in my life, a business associate told me about the song, "Thank You." He suggested I buy Ray's CD - which I did - and my life was changed. This was my first exposure to this type of Christian music, and I found that no matter how stressed my life became, I could play Ray's music and find peace amidst my chaos. I have often hoped I would have the chance to see him in person and thank him for sharing his wonderful gift.

I bought this CD for the single song "Thank You," which is one of my favorite comtemporary Christian tunes, but have enjoyed each and every song on the album. I think the appeal of this disc spans a wide range -- I've shared it with a 70-something and a 20-something, and both have enjoyed the entire album.

This is how CCM should be! So much of CCM is just musical mush: not so with Boltz. This is some of the most spiritual music that I have ever heard. It is powerfull, moving and insperational. Each song has a unique sound and message that can't be missed. The message doesn't get lost in the delivery of the music. I recommend this to anyone that wants to listen to uplifting CCM.

What an awesome CD! The beauty and ministry in his songs are priceless. Definitely a great and beautiful gift for anyone. I have given out 13 of these, and each and every person I have given it to loves it.

What a Blessing. This artist is one of my very favorites. His voice is remarkable. When I play this CD, my soul rejoices and my spirit is lifted higher. A toe tapping gospel experience.

The 2 cd set has almost all the best songs. Really enjoy listening to them on my iPhone.
