Additional details include a date calendar located at the three o'clock position, a unidirectional ratchet bezel, and waterproof screwdown crowns. About Every two years or so (When the battery dies), you send the watch in the Blaine, Washington service center, and for a mere Twenty Bucks, the watch is gomne through, cleaned, re-waterproofed, new battery, and is warranteed for another two years.......
For the price of JUST getting the battery replaced anywhere else (AND losing the waterproofing in the process), you virtually get a new watch back!!!! VERY nice folks, this line of watches is extraordinary in this time of "Throwaway" timepieces, or sending in for service, and never seeing or hearing what ever happened to it after you sent it off. I have the Orange Faced M1, and it gets lots of appreciative looks and comments. AND, it keeps very accurate time too.
