The M1 has been an excellent watch. I have worn it daily for three years, and other than a battery change has worked perfectly. The dial layout is very readable, especially in water. The completely luminous dial makes it easy to read in the dark. It is styled very well, with good overall look and good dial and hand design. Still ticking after tons of drops, hits, and bangs. Never problematic in the ocean.

I spent a few months looking at watches before pulling the trigger on this watch. I was looking for an analog watch with a full Arabic numbered face. I also wanted something rugged and water proof. I looked at Luminox watches, a few Citizen's, and Invicta's. the momentum had the best of all the watches I looked at and was cheaper.

Check out the companies website, they have great service and extended warranties. [...] I just ordered a new band. I bought the watch with the rubber dive band and because this is a real dive watch the band is long to fit over a wetsuit. I liked the cloth band as well so I order it just as a backup.

I've had this watch about a month and love it it tells time well, the bezeal is not flimsy like on fossil watches, the dial is easy to read at any time of day indoors or out. the face does glow for about 8 hours but it needs to be "charged" by light, either artificial or the sun, the longer it is in light the better and longer it will glow. having the watch on during the work day under a long sleeve shirt means the watch doesn't get much light so at night it will still be legible but you have to really stare at it since the glow is very dim. but still better then having to hit a button for a light.

I've read a few reviews of the white face version and I think someone complained about the size that it was too small. This is an average size men's watch. it looke big in the photos because the band is thin, which makes the case look big. this is common on dive watches. go check out some watches in a store to see. the luminox and tissot watches have the same illusion with their rubber bands. the face of the watch, the flat part where the hash lines for the minutes are located is about the size of a U.S. quarter. my wrist size is 7.5 inches and the watch looks fine, not too big or too small. F.Y.I. the Invicta watches (especially the dive watches) are flava-flav big, luminox's are big too but the face is small and recessed into the case. so their size is misleading as well.

Yesterday I took this watch for a dive in a pool. It seemed to work fine, no problems.
Today I took it for a real open water dive (spring, not sea). At a mere 20ft it flooded. About 1/3 of the space under the glass was water. Not a water vapor, just plain water. And it was a mere 1 minute underwater. The crown was all the way down but it seemed like there was no seal but a hole instead.
In the evening I noticed the water to turn reddish. It seems that at least some of the internals are made of a regular steel. In a real dive watch one would expect stainless steel or anything else not corroding so fast. I did unscrew the crown, pulled it out, and then the whole thing came out. It was corroded almost all over. Not just corroded like reddish color here and there, but brown with tiny brown bumps. Like it was in a water for weeks. It makes me think, maybe amazon.com sold me an already returned watch.
I guess the 200M rating means walking 200 meters in rain and not diving 200 meters down. Or maybe 200 minutes in the shower.
This might be a "dive watch" but surely it is not a "scuba dive watch". For diving in a pool but without scuba gear.
Also, the bezel at 6 o'clock is sticking out. If one taps it with a finger it makes a sound. When I bought this watch and showed it to my friends they were making fun of this like "are you sure there was no 'made in China' sticker somewhere on it?". I was afraid that this bezel will pop off sooner or later.
This was my first and my last dive watch I ever bought. I'm going back to buying a cheap "waterproof 100M" watches at Walmart for $9.95. Then I just lube it thoroughly with a silicon grease (Silicone Grease 2.0 oz. Jar). After such treatment a cheap Walmart quality "made in China" watch works perfectly. I took one to 150 feet several times and it is still working! The only drawback is that the bezel doesn't turn because it is painted. It just needs a bit of silicon grease every 10 diving days or so. And if I flood it, it won't hurt as much as flooding a real "dive watch" for $109.95.

In summary: Momentum M1 dive watch is a piece of crap. DO NOT BUY IT!!!

The Momentum M1 Lime-colored dial is a beautiful watch. It is simple and straight-forward in its appearance and function. No added bells and whistles to complement this watch but the main attraction, in my opinion, is its simplicity. The case is made of 316L grade stainless steel, the bezel rotates smoothly and the arabic numerals in the dial can be seen clearly. The crystal is made of heat-tempered, anti-glare mineral glass so you can be assured that it is going to last a tough diving activity and if you use it in extreme lighting, you can still tell time without the glare bothering you. The size is also just right for the average sized wrist. It is neither too big nor too small. The rubber strap is very smooth and conforms to your wrist easily without constriction. Even if you decide to wear it a little tighter than the usual, you will not feel any tightness in the band. Another aspect of the watch that is worth noting is the luminosity. Where other dive watches is only luminous on the dots or numbers or the minute/hour hands of the dial, the M1's luminosity is on the whole dial itself. It absorbs light pretty easily in both indoor and outdoor lighting. I have posted a couple of pictures for you to see how it looks like in an average-sized wrist like mine. This is a very comfortable watch to wear that you can wear it not only on the beach or for diving, but casually as well. Very happy with the looks and performance of this watch.

I bought this watch in ladies royal blue and in less than 60 days it stopped working. I took it for a battery change but that did not make it run.
The jeweler said the battery was still good. Amazon wouldn't take it back since it was over 30 days. MY ADVICE- DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON MOMENTUM PRODUCTS.
